With our foaling/breeding season now in full swing and the yearling sales season not far away, we have a number of positions to fill on our Te Awamutu-based farm.

It’s an intensive and busy time right now, where we meet the daily needs of our mares and foals combined with breeding season related activities.

In November, we commence the preparation of our yearlings for the Karaka Sales in late January.

Prior horse experience is definitely preferred, but not essential - we'd be happy to train selected learners who can guarantee enthusiasm and work ethic etc. Please note, this may include the potential of an apprenticeship and NZQA recognised qualifications while you work.

This is an opportunity for horse lovers to learn so much and potentially gain skills that could lead to a rewarding career in the international horse breeding/racing industry.

These positions would suit motivated individuals based in the Te Awamutu/Cambridge area. However on-farm accommodation may be available or arranged for the right candidate.

Competitive wages offered, and commencement can be immediate to mid November.
