Stud Groom Position
With a successful yearling sale completed, our attention on the farm now turns to weaning our foals amongst all the other duties involved in caring for the daily needs of our animals.
We require two persons on our Te Awamutu-based farm to support our existing team.
Prior horse experience is definitely preferred. We’re happy also to train selected learners who can guarantee enthusiasm and work ethic etc. Please note, this may include the potential of an apprenticeship and NZQA recognised qualifications while you work.
This is an opportunity for horse lovers to learn so much and potentially gain skills that could lead to a rewarding career in the international horse breeding/racing industry.
These positions would suit motivated individuals based in the Te Awamutu/Cambridge area. However on-farm accommodation may be available or arranged for the right candidate.
Competitive wages offered, and commencement can be immediate.

Farm Maintenance Person
We currently have a vacant position in our operation for a maintenance person on our horse breeding farm located just outside of Te Awamutu.
The successful applicant would have good energy levels, good farm maintenance skills and stock sense, be capable with a tractor, have general handyman/fix it skills and just be a very good allrounder. A heavy traffic driving license would be of benefit also.
This is a flexible role that would suit a person with farming experience that is looking for a more relaxed role involving twenty to thirty hours a week.
