Curraghmore graduates collected a few notable results over the weekend, following on from a successful two days of selling at Karaka.
The stand out performance was the Curraghmore bred Touch of Silver (Guillotine) who blitzed his rivals at Rotorua to win the Van Dyks Furnishings 2200 by 14.5 lengths.
The four-year-old had no wet form to date but made the running and looked the winner coming around the turn, though no one would have predicted that the success margin to be so extensive.
It was the second career win for the Michael, Matthew and Matt Rogers-trained gelding.
Kuro (Denman) again put in a brave performance to finish fourth in the Listed Ortensia Stakes (1100m) at Scone. He is showing great consistency having run third in the Listed Hawkesbury Gold Rush (1100m) a fortnight ago.
