Unforgotten (Fastnet Rock x Memories of You) became Curraghmore’s latest stakes winner and also showed she is on track for the Australian Oaks with a win in the Gr.2 Phar Lap Stakes at Rosehill on Saturday.
Bred by Coolmore, Unforgotten was purchased out of Curraghmore’s 2016 NZB Premier Yearling Sale by Guy Mulcaster for Chris Waller Racing.
She has since won four of seven starts earning over A$300,000 in prizemoney for her big team of Waller stable clients.
Unforgotten’s win capped a fantastic week for the farm with Fanatic having won the Gr.2 Adelaide Cup on Monday.
On the Rosehill undercard, Tribal Wisdom (Makfi x Platinum Passion) finished second in the first race of his autumn campaign in the tab.com.au Handicap (1350m). Trainer Michael Moroney has identified the Stradbroke in Queensland as his long-term target.
Meanwhile in Melbourne Theanswermyfriend (High Chaparral x Blowin in the Wind) finished second in the Listed March Stakes, trainer Henry Dywer also has the Stradbroke in mind for him.
In New Zealand Heroic Valour (Fastnet Rock x Myrrh) added to his black-type record with a second placing in the Listed Te Akau Racing Lightning Handicap.
Also in New Zealand on Friday, Divine Elite (Pour Moi x Teardrop Island) broke maiden status at just his third race start, having placed in her previous two, for trainers Graham Richardson and Gavin Parker at Te Aroha.
