Trainer Shane Baertschiger was pleased with his better fortunes this Friday when his trio of horses were handed low numbers in the S$125,000 Kranji Stakes A race over 1200m.
Faaltless and Caorunn will be joined by Curraghmore Stud graduate Red Dawn (Align) who will jump from gate six.
Baertschiger rates Red Dawn as an outside chance as the six-year-old makes a step up in class.
"Red Dawn steps up in class, and he’s on turf this time, but all three are in good form and I hope they run well on Friday.”
The Auric Stable-owned Align six-year-old will be partnered by Baertschiger’s apprentice jockey Syafiq Hazman.
Red Dawn was bred by Mark Treloar and sold through Curraghmore's draft as a weanling for $21,000 in the 2012 NZB Weanling, Broodmare and Mixed Bloodstock Sale. -STC
