Exhibition gallop for First Seal

Five-year-old mare First Seal (Fastnet Rock), winner of the Gr.1 Flight Stakes (1600m) as a three-year-old, will have an exhibition gallop at Randwick on Saturday.

The John Thompson-trained mare, who won a 1200 metre Randwick barrier trial on 5 September, will work with stablemate Fabvier (Fastnet Rock) over 1000 metres after race one.

Blake Shinn will ride Gr.2 Golden Pendant (1400m) bound First Seal, while apprentice Blaike McDougall will ride last start Goulburn maiden winner Fabvier in the gallop. - ANZ Bloodstock News
